How Does Tirzepatide HypoSpray Work?

Tirzepatide HypoSpray is a needle-free delivery option designed to administer prescribed tirzepatide into the subcutaneous tissue, where the medication is intended to be absorbed into the body similarly to a traditional subcutaneous injection.

Tirzepatide belongs to a class of medications that activates the body's GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) and GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptors. These receptors play important roles in regulating appetite, digestion, and blood sugar.

When prescribed as part of a comprehensive medical weight management program, tirzepatide may help:

Important Information: Tirzepatide is a prescription medication and is not appropriate for everyone. The safety and effectiveness of any specific delivery device depend on the medication formulation and the device being used. Patients should use only medications and delivery systems that have been prescribed and recommended by their healthcare provider.

Pricing: Dosing options are by monthly dose with every person starting at 2.5 mg.

2.5mg x 4 weeks (10mg bottle - 2.5mg concentration - 1 spray) - $210

5mg x 4 weeks (20mg bottle - 2.5mg concentration - 2 sprays) - $225

7.5mg x 4 weeks (30mg bottle - 2.5mg concentration - 3 sprays) - $245

10mg x 4 weeks (40mg bottle - 5mg concentration - 2 sprays) - $255 

12.5mg x 4 weeks (50mg bottle - 12.5mg concentration - 1 spray) - $270

15mg x 4 weeks (60mg bottle - 5mg concentration - 3 sprays) - $285

Administration: Spray topically daily x 5 days and then 2 days off.  NO REFRIGERATION REQUIRED!!!

Common Side Effects: Most side effects are gastrointestinal, including nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and constipation.

Serious Warnings: It carries a boxed warning for a potential risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. People with a personal or family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2) should not use it.

The medications are shipped directly from a compounding pharmacy so please allow time for processing. Shipping takes place Monday to Thursday.

This comes in a vial with syringes and will require the client to draw up and administer the medication.
